Foil Fencer for 15 years
Loves fencing and watching young fencers become great and achieve goals!

Background
I have been a foil fencer since I was 8 years old. I started my fencing years at Excelcior Fencing Club in Kitchener Ontario. I was coached by a Polish master fencer there and then followed him to his own club in Mississauga. I trained there all through high school and afterwards I went off to University where I trained at Carleton University and was coached by a Hungarian coach. In Ottawa I also trained at the RA center with the fencers from there.

In 2007 I was a member of the Ontario team for the Canada Winter Games and won 3rd place individually and our team came 3rd.

In 2007/2008 I was part of the Cadet National Team for men's Foil. I went to the World Championships that year as well.

Coaching Experience
During my studies in Ottawa I coached children fencing for the past 3 years. I taught the basics of fencing to the new students and then taught developmental skills for my experienced students. I encouraged my students to compete to experience a variety of opponents and I helped them with any questions or struggles they had. I thoroughly enjoy helping students overcome Fencing challenges.
